1.1. Please take a moment to read these online shopping terms and conditions (“Online Shopping Terms”) to understand how they apply to our online ordering and delivery facilities when purchasing any products or services via our website, online shop or online store (“the/our/this Website”).

1.2. Your access and use of our online ordering and delivery facilities constitutes your acceptance and consent to be bound by these Online Shopping Terms, which is further subject to and should be read together with our General Terms and Conditions for our Website.

2.1. Online registration prior to purchasing products online via our Website is optional. Should you wish to register with us, please click on “Register” to complete the online registration form and create your profile.

2.2. In order to register as a user on our Website, you will be required to provide certain personal information, including a nominated email address and password. Please keep your password private and confidential at all times. We accept no liability for any damages suffered or losses incurred from the use or misuse of your password. You will be required to enter your user name / email address and password each time you visit our Website. In order to amend any of your user account details, please go to “My Account”.

2.3. As an unregistered user you will be able to browse the products displayed on the website and to make purchases with us as a “guest”. However, certain functionalities may not work when purchasing as a guest and we therefore strongly advise that you take the time to register on our Website before placing orders online.



3.1. All products displayed on our Website are subject to availability and will be delivered only within the Republic of South Africa. We currently outsource our delivery facilities to approved service providers which offers delivery facilities to Pretoria, Johannesburg, and all other major city centres in South Africa. Deliveries to outlying areas are accommodated, but may constitute a longer delivery time, as set out in our Delivery Policy (please see section 10 for our Delivery Policy).

3.2. We reserve the right to discontinue or change the specifications of our online ordering and delivery facilities, including the products to which they relate from time to time without notice. We will inform you as soon as possible if any products or services ordered by you are not available.

3.3. The provision of your personal information during the registration process will constitute your consent to such information being processed and stored by us for the specific purpose for which such information was requested.



4.1. An electronic Gift Certificate can be purchased online with credit card, instant EFT or SnapScan); online purchases are currently only available in South Africa.

4.2. Any value may be purchased as a Gift Certificate, subject to the following minimum and maximum amounts: A minimum amount of R 100.00 (ONE HUNDRED RAND) must be purchased and the maximum amount that may be loaded is R 1000.00 (ONE THOUSAND RAND).

4.3. Gift Certificates ordered through our Website will be delivered automatically to the email address specified at the time of your order. Our Gift Certificates include a unique voucher number, which the recipient may enter to purchase products on our Website to the value of the Gift Certificate purchased.

4.4. When ordering a Gift Certificate, please ensure that you enter the recipient’s email address correctly. We cannot be held responsible if the address is entered incorrectly and someone other than the intended recipient uses the Gift Certificate.

4.5. Our Gift Certificates may only be redeemed on our Website, as full or partial payment of products purchased on our Website and cannot be exchanged for cash.

4.6. A Gift Certificate may not be used to purchase another Gift Certificate.

4.7. You can check the balance of the Gift Certificate by logging into your account (please note, this only applies if you register for an account). Any additional cost exceeding the value of the Gift Certificate shall be payable by the redeemer thereof.

4.8. Notwithstanding anything to the contrary contained herein, in the event where products purchased online with a Gift Certificate are returned in accordance with our Refund Policy (please see section 11 for our Refund Policy), monies owing will be refunded by a Gift Certificate and will not be given to the redeemer in cash.

4.9. Special promotions and offers do not apply when purchasing a Gift Certificate. No discounts of any nature apply to Gift Certificates.

4.10. All Gift Certificates are dated and expire 3 (THREE) years from the date of issue or upon full redemption thereof, whichever occurs earlier in time.

4.11. We are not responsible if a Gift Certificate is lost, stolen, destroyed or used without permission and no replacement will be provided in these circumstances.



We regret that no order will be accepted if we identify a material error in the description of any of our products, services and/or their prices on our Website. Packaging may also vary from that shown on our Website.



6.1. All prices displayed on our Website are quoted in South African Rands and are valid and effective only in the Republic of South Africa.

6.2. You will be charged the prices that are reflected on our Website, subject to availability and our Delivery Policy as set out herein. Timola is currently not registered for VAT and as such prices does not reflect or include Value-Added Tax.

6.3. Special promotions may be subject to certain conditions, including stock availability and limited offer stipulations. Special promotions only apply to products on your original online order (i.e. not on products which are added after the order was placed).

6.4. Your total purchase price will include the price of the products plus any applicable sales tax and delivery fees. The total purchase price indicated may thus vary from the prices reflected on our Website due to additional delivery fees charged over and above the purchase price for your selected products and which shall depend on the delivery location. These delivery fees shall be specified during the payment process and be in line with our Delivery Policy as set out herein.



7.1. Your order is deemed to be accepted when you receive an order confirmation.

7.2. Subject to availability and receipt of payment, orders will be processed within 1 (ONE) business day. Orders placed over the weekends or public holidays will be attended to on the first business day thereafter.

7.3. Notwithstanding the above, order processing will only begin once we receive an order confirmation and full payment.



An agreement of sale between Timola and a customer is only valid once a valid proof of payment has been received. Up until this point, all products shall remain the property of Timola.



9.1. When you click to make a purchase with us, legal obligations arise and your right to receive a refund are limited by these Online Shopping Terms (as read with our General Terms and Conditions). You must not make any purchase via our Website unless you understand and agree to all our terms and conditions as set out herein, as well as in our General Terms and Conditions. Once your online order has been placed, it is deemed that you have read and understood the terms and conditions relating to such purchase. If you have any queries please contact us before placing any online order and/or purchasing any products or using our services via this Website.

9.2. When purchasing products on our Website, please select the products you wish to purchase by selecting the “Add to cart” option. Once you are done shopping, please proceed to click on “Checkout” to finalise your online purchase with us and follow the order processing instructions.

9.3. If you need to log off at any time and do not want to start your shopping from anew, all of your preliminary order details will be temporarily saved online under the “Your Account” section, and will be available for you to continue shopping upon your next visit to our Website. If you want to remove products from your cart, simply click on the red square “remove” option next to each product selected in your preliminary order.

9.4. Upon clicking on “Checkout”, you will be prompted to select a payment method via PayFast (please click herePayFast to visit their website and to view their terms and conditions). If it is your first purchase via PayFast, you will have to register with them before you can finalize your payment. PayFast offers the following payment methods:

9.4.1. Credit card Kindly take note that we accept Master Card and Visa credit cards. When you order online, funds equal to the total value of your order will be reserved against the card you are paying with during the checkout process. By submitting your order and payment card details you warrant that you are authorised to make payment with the payment card and that there are sufficient funds available to pay for the order.

9.4.2. Instant EFT (Electronic Fund Transfer) You may pay for your products by means of an instant EFT into our bank account via PayFast for the following 4 (FOUR) of South Africa’s major banks: Absa. FNB. Nedbank. Standard Bank. You will have to load Timola as a beneficiary on your internet banking and use the unique order number in the reference line for your payment. Please email your proof of payment to bulbine@timola.co.za to ensure your payment is confirmed and order processed for delivery. With instantEFT’s, we will only dispatch products once the payment reflects in our bank account. Our banking details are as follows:

Direct OR EFT Deposit You may pay for your products by means of a direct or electronic funds transfer deposit.

With a direct deposit you will have to go into a Nedbank branch and physically make the deposit there, where as an EFT is done online via your online banking system. Please email your deposit slip or proof of payment to bulbine@timola.co.za to ensure your payment is confirmed and order processed for delivery. With direct deposits and normal EFTs, we will only dispatch the products once payment reflects in our account.

9.4.4. SnapScan You may pay for your products by means of SnapScan. You will have to download the App, Register and Load your selected cheque or credit cards on your SnapScan profile. Scan the displayed QR code and follow the prompts. You will receive a confirmation message on your SnapScan profile and we will receive a confirmation sms.

9.4.4. Gift Certificate

In order to redeem a Gift Certificate, simply select the products you wish to order by clicking on the “Add to cart” option and proceeding to “Checkout”. When prompted to select your method of payment, select “Gift Certificate” and proceed to enter the unique voucher number. Should the value of your cart exceed the available balance on your Gift Certificate, you will be prompted to make an additional payment for the remaining balance via one of the other remaining payment options as listed above.

  1. DELIVERY (also referred to as our “Delivery Policy”)

10.1. Deliveries are made to Pargo Collection Points across the Republic of South Africa. Upon “Checkout”, and with Pargo selected as delivery option, you will be prompted to select your desired Pargo Collection Point. You’ll receive an sms from Pargo when your delivery has arrived and ready for your collection at the selected Pargo Collection Point.

10.2. Should you wish to collect your order in-store, select the “Collect In-store” option upon “Checkout”.

10.3. Purchases that require deliveries to the customer’s address are delivered by The Courier Guy; Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. – 5 p.m, excluding public holidays & only within the Republic of South Africa. Orders shall be delivered by The Courier Guy to the nominated delivery address and subsequently their terms & conditions will also apply to any such sale conducted via this Website. The correct and occupied delivery address must be specified in order to ensure receipt of the order at the delivery address.

10.4. In general, should we have stock available, orders will be dispatched within 3 (THREE) to 5 (FIVE) business days after payment is received and ready for collection or delivered within 7 (SEVEN) business days.

10.5. Every effort is made to effect timeously delivery of your order to your selected Pargo Collection Point or delivery address; however, unforeseen circumstances may cause delays. Should we be faced with such an occurrence, Timola will contact you via email or telephone to make alternative delivery arrangements, but a delivery delay is not grounds for a refund or return.

10.6. On collection or delivery, you will receive a detailed delivery note and/or invoice showing the products delivered, the delivery fees, Value-Added Tax (if any) and the amount debited from your payment card or monies received via instantEFT, direct bank transfer, EFT and/or Voucher.

10.7. By using our Website, you accept that for an order to be deemed delivered we do not have to prove that you personally received the order, but rather that any person at the designated collection point or delivery address signed a delivery note confirming receipt thereof. Any person other than yourself who receives the products at the delivery address or collection point is presumed to be authorised to accept delivery on your behalf. It is therefore of utmost importance that you specify a delivery address or collection point where either you or an authorised representative can accept the delivery or collect during office hours.

10.8. Should no-one be in attendance at the time of delivery, the driver will keep the products and try to contact you. The driver will try to contact you to make new arrangements for delivery or collection. We reserve the right to charge an additional delivery fee should it be required.

10.9. Delivery and collection costs are for your own account. The delivery cost is automatically displayed once you have placed an online order via our online shop. Should you opt to collect your purchase at the Timola store: Cape Connection Lifestyle Village, No.59, Garsfontein rd, Maroelana, Pretoria, Gauteng, South Africa; the delivery amount will automatically be R0.

  1. RETURNS & REFUNDS (also referred to as our “Refund Policy”)

11.1. Availability

The provision of products and services by Timola is subject to availability. In case of unavailability, Timola will contact you to discuss alternative options depending on your specific needs and/or concerns.

11.2. Dissatisfaction regarding quality of the products received

If for any reason, you are dissatisfied with the quality of any product purchased online, you may contact Timola per electronic mail or telephone to notify us of your dissatisfaction and the reasons therefore. Should we deem your complaint as reasonable, we may elect to refund you (either in whole or in part), provide a replacement or exchange of product, provided that the product is still in its original sealed packaging and you provide us with your proof of payment, a signed copy of your delivery note and inform us within 1 (ONE) business day from date of delivery or collection so that we can personally arrange for inspection of the products to confirm the condition and quality thereof.

11.3. Wrong order delivered

11.3.1. Should you receive the wrong product, please inform Timola per email or telephone within 1 (ONE) business day from date of delivery or collection. Upon notification that the wrong order was allegedly delivered, we shall check our system against your order and investigate whether the wrong goods were so delivered.

11.3.2. Should we establish that the wrong order has indeed been delivered to you, we may elect to refund you (either in whole or in part), provide a replacement or exchange of product, provided that you provide us with your proof of payment and a signed copy of your delivery note.

11.3.3. In order for Timola to exchange the wrong order the product must be in its original sealed packaging.



12.1. If for any reason you would like to cancel an order after making payment of the total purchase price, you may submit a cancellation request by informing us in writing that you wish to cancel your purchase. However, cancellation of an order can only be made prior to dispatch of such order and Timola thus retains the right to reject your cancellation request in the event that an order has already been dispatched to your designated delivery address.

12.2. Any approved cancellation request shall be subject to a handling fee of 10% (TEN PERCENT) of the total purchase price (“cancellation fee”) and such cancellation fee shall be subtracted from the refund amount.

12.3. If you have successfully cancelled an order as set out above, Timola will refund you within 30 (THIRTY) business days from date of cancellation, provided that you provide proof of payment and comply with the terms and conditions as set out herein (as read with our General Terms and Conditions).

12.4. We reserve the right to cancel any sale and/or your user account in the event of breach of any of these Online Shopping Terms and Conditions or the General Terms and Conditions.



Risk in the products shall pass to you or your authorised representative on delivery. We will retain ownership of the products until payment is received in full.



14.1. The content of the Website, including without limitation, text, copy, audio, video, photographs, illustrations, graphics and other visuals, are displayed for informational purposes only and does not constitute professional medical advice, diagnosis, treatment or recommendations of any kind.

14.2. You should always seek the advice of qualified heath care professionals in relation to any questions or concerns that you may have regarding your individual needs and any relevant medical conditions. Neither Timola nor its content or service providers recommend or endorse any specific tests, physicians, products, procedures, opinions or other information that may be included on the Website. Reliance on any information appearing on the Website, whether provided by Timola, its content providers, visitors to the Website or others, is solely at your own risk.


14.3. Timola products are not intended to diagnose, cure or prevent any disorders and should not be used to treat serious medical problems in the absence of medical advice from a health practitioner. Please consult a physician before use if you have any concerns or serious medical conditions.
